The Generator Collective with Ilana Glazer

Get out and vote! Special Elections are today, November 7th in many states nationwide, making today’s episode with actress, producer and comedian Ilana Glazer and her organization Generator Collective timely and a must-listen!

This no holds-barre episode is full of ruminations on making shows before the current era of streaming, Ilana’s success with the mega-hit show Broad City, and what it is like working with your best friend. Democracy is on the agenda as Ilana shares why she grew up fighting for what she feels is right and when she realized that voting was one of the strongest ways to effect change in America. From this realization, Generator Collective was born.

They are joined by Glennis Meagher, co-founder of Generator Collective to discuss how they are lowering the barrier to entry for Gen-Z and Millennials to engage in civic discourse, their current push to GOTV and their new film “Microdose Democracy” that seeks to merge entertainment and activism.
