Executive Administrator - Full Time ($45k-$55k/year)

📍 Location: Hybrid (Preference for East Coast-based candidates)

Job Description:

SixDegrees.org is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to support day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced nonprofit environment, managing databases, streamlining processes, and ensuring smooth internal coordination across programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage organizational databases, including Submittable and Instil, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Provide administrative support for programs, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives.

• Assist in maintaining donor and partner records, tracking engagement and contributions.

• Oversee document management, scheduling, and internal communication systems.

• Support executive leadership with research, reporting, and special projects.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in nonprofit administration, project coordination, or a similar role.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

• Experience with donor management systems (e.g., Instil, Submittable) is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

• Self-Motivated: Takes initiative, works independently, and manages multiple priorities effectively.

• Supportive & Collaborative: Brings a positive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork to help drive organizational success.

• Google Workspace Expert: Possesses advanced proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive for seamless communication, data management, and workflow optimization.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and grow partnerships with donors, brands, and corporate collaborators who align with our mission.

• Identify and cultivate sponsorship opportunities for campaigns, storytelling series, and live activations.

• Create compelling proposals and decks that connect brand goals with community impact.

• Support fundraising campaigns and donor engagement strategies that inspire long-term commitment.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with our storytelling, programs, and marketing teams to ensure partnership visibility and alignment.

• Track and report progress on donor engagement, partnership development, and campaign outcomes using CRM and reporting tools.

You’re a Great Fit If You:

• Have 5+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, brand partnerships, or CSR-focused relationship management.

• Understand how to bridge the gap between brands and impact storytelling.

• Are a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, creative, and collaborative environments.

• Possess exceptional communication and presentation skills—you can inspire people to join a mission.

• Have experience developing sponsorships, campaign collaborations, or pro bono partnerships.

• Are passionate about the power of human connection and helping communities thrive.

• Are U.S.-based (East Coast preferred for collaboration with team and partners).

Preferred Experience:

• Background in cause marketing, CSR, or creative agency partnerships.

• Familiarity with platforms like Instil, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRMs.

• Strong understanding of digital campaigns, social impact storytelling, or nonprofit communications.
