NBA Draft 2022: Live stream, how to watch, TV channel, start time
After the NBA's compelling 2021-22 season that came to a close last week when the Golden State Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals for their fourth championship in the last eight seasons, it's now time to turn our attention toward next season and beyond, starting with Thursday's 2022 NBA Draft.

For the first time since 2004, the Orlando Magic have the top overall pick in the draft. Back in '04, Orlando selected Dwight Howard with that top pick, and he went on to have some serious success with the franchise, It will be interesting to see what the Magic do with the pick this time around as their decision will set the tone for the rest of the draft. After Orlando, the Oklahoma City Thunder possess the No. 2 overall pick, followed by the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and Detroit Pistons rounding out the top five.
The 2022 class is flush with talent with several players vying for the No. 1 overall spot in Gonzaga's Chet Holmgren, Auburn's Jabari Smith and Duke's Paolo Banchero separating themselves from the field, and will likely be the top three picks in some order.

The Orlando Magic have been on the clock since winning the NBA Draft lottery and they have a tough decision to make. As many as three players have been pegged with the best odds of becoming the No. 1 pick.
Auburn’s Jabari Smith, Gonzaga’s Chet Holmgren, and Duke’s Paolo Banchero could join a young team in Orlando, whose last playoff appearance was in 2020 when they were beaten in five games in the first round by the Milwaukee Bucks. The Magic regressed last season and went 22-60, the worst record in the Eastern Conference.
Indiana, Portland, New Orleans, San Antonio, Washington, New York, Oklahoma City, Charlotte and Cleveland round out the lottery picks.
